The Energy Map

Where AI power is forming — by region.

How much low-carbon generation is requesting interconnection in each region's queue, across the major US grid operators — the power supply forming to serve the AI buildout. AI infrastructure follows cheap, deliverable power; this ranks where that supply is actually forming today. Descriptive: today's queue, not a forecast of where a data center will be built.

This is the supply side. The gap between all the power requested and the sliver with a signed agreement is THE LOADSTAR NUMBERwhat this means →

How to read it, honestly. "Low-carbon gen in queue" is low-carbon capacity requesting interconnection in each region — a supply signal (the power forming to serve future load), not delivered or cheap power; some needs costly transmission to reach load, and a 0 or blank can mean we have not mapped that region's queue yet, not that none exists. Regions are ranked by that queued supply. The data-center count is existing ground-truth (context), not a claim that cheap power attracts them. Wholesale price ($/MWh) returns as a column as each ISO's redistribution terms are verified (PJM stays internal-use). A descriptive snapshot of today across ERCOT, CAISO, MISO, SPP, NYISO and ISO-NE, cross-referenced to official ISO sources, not a prediction. Method open: /methodology.
